The NABEF Media Sales Institute program is an intensive 12-day boot camp where students are immersed in learning electronic media advertising sales and sales techniques. The curriculum is designed to provide an entree into broadcast media sales for talented students of diverse backgrounds. The MSI program provides comprehensive training to selected candidates in the field of broadcasting to include radio, television, cable, digital and internet media. More than 75 percent of the participants are hired by media companies within one-month after their participation in the program. Letter from the DA

Greetings,

My name is Christopher Holiman and I served as the Deputy Administrator for the 2011 Media Sales Institute. I have worked with the program for the last four years and I must say that this year was outstanding. We had 34 graduates from 20 different universities across the country and had 20 different recruiting companies participate.

Next year, we hope to involve even more colleges and universities as well as have more companies participate in the program. Furthermore, we are also looking forward to hosting the first Alumni Mixer for previous associates as well as participating students.
